Trash the Dress with Andrea, Paul and Unico 24.09.09
Andrea and Paul commissioned me for our first "Trash the Dress" shoot. Andrea was keen to do something a bit different and wanted to include Unico, her amazing and very beautiful Portuguese bred horse. I suggested Black Rock Sands which is one of my favourite beaches in North Wales with its wide expanse of sand and plenty of evening sun, great for reflections. We were lucky, the dramatic sky was out with the sun shining, Unico was enjoying the camera, behaving perfectly. This is one of the most exciting shoots to date, in the end we were all soaked below the waist and caked in sand, not to mention Andrea seriously trashing her dress. Please enjoy..

Caroline and Matt 29.08.09
Congratulations to Caroline and Matt on their wedding at Portmeirion. I hope the laughter can be seen in the photography, Matt and Darren had me in stitches first thing in the morning and the theme of fun continued through the day making it an amazing wedding. In the afternoon the tide was down and Caroline was keen to do a shoot on the beach in front of the Portmeirion Hotel. This has been a dream of mine and at every wedding at Portmeirion I always usually miss it. We only had ten minutes and headed off with trepidation but soon realized that it wasn't going to be as easy as hoped. A muddy stream divided us and the beach. We managed to solve the problem, I ended up wading through it carrying the bride, feeling like a hero! My shoes were expendable whilst Matt's weren't, especially with the first dance at Hercules Hall coming up in minutes. I just didnt care for the state of my feet compared to losing these shots!
