Kelly noticed my photographs kindly displayed by our friends Dilys and Rhian of Gwisgfa Brides in Bangor.

We met up with Kelly and John in November for an engagement shoot which ended up with a beautiful sunset at Criccieth beach. It was such a pleasure meeting them and it was so obvious that they were a perfect match and lovely people.

We knew that their wedding was going to be amazing and it was. Kelly looked incredible and to see the look on John's face when he saw her was a reminder of the reason why I enjoy shooting weddings so much. It was very moving.

The reception at The Meifod Hotel was really fantastic. The closeness of Kelly and John's friends and family was overwhelming. Kelly got me to dance with her, but I have two left feet and I think I'm much better at taking the photographs!

We met Sarah and Owen on a beautiful summer's day in June 2007. Sarah is passionate about photography and was a joy to work with. Despite spending most of the day chatting and relaxing in our garden, we did manage to get to Portmeirion that day. We took some amazing photographs of her wearing one of Gwisgfa Brides gowns and these can be seen on the portrait section of our website.

The wedding was a special day in many ways. Not only was it Owen and Sarah's big day but it was a huge milestone for Jones Wedding Photography. Our first joint venture wedding photography shoot in our home area under our new company Jones Weddings!

Owen and Sarah have been so supportive and enthusiastic about our work that its been a real delight to capture them and their family and friends.

It was a great day despite the somewhat extreme weather! My job was made easy with such a fabulous couple and the stunning Portmeirion interiors. We hope that you enjoy our first ever blog preview
